Ozone Therapy for Home Use — AMPMforHealth.com
Ozone Therapy · For the Home

Oxygen your body
already knows what to do with.

We've kept a SimplyO3 unit in our own home for years — easy, effective, and designed so you don't need a clinic appointment to use it. Here's what it's for, and how it fits into a life that's already food-first.

From Paul & Ann

We use it ourselves. That's why it became part of the program.

After using ozone ourselves, we found it beneficial enough that we made it part of our Health Retreat program. These days we reach for it whenever we've been exposed to viruses — it seems to clear things up and knock out whatever bacteria or viruses we might have picked up while we were out and about. Rectal is the one we enjoy most: it gives us some of the best bowel movements we've ever had, and we notice a real difference in how we feel overall.

Food and water still come first. That hasn't changed and it never will. But we live in a toxic world, and adjunct therapies like this one carry real benefit alongside that foundation. Ozone stimulates the immune system and prompts an antioxidant response in the body — exactly the kind of support we all need while we're dealing with the everyday stresses that come with modern life.

"We're not telling you this replaces anything your doctor is doing. We're telling you it's a tool worth understanding — and one we've found a comfortable place for in our own home."

SimplyO3 is the equipment we trust for this. It's built for home use, it comes with the regulator you need already included — you'll just need to pair it with an oxygen tank, not a concentrator — and it supports the handful of methods most people actually want: rectal, vaginal, and sinus insufflation, and ozonating your own drinking water. Simple enough to use at your kitchen table. Serious enough to take seriously — so before we get into how we use it, here's what's actually happening in the body when you do.

Five things ozone appears to do in the body.

Dr. Robert Rowen has used ozone in his medical practice since the 1980s. This is how he explains what it does — and it's the clearest breakdown we've come across.

Improves Blood Flow

Ozone increases red blood cell flexibility, letting cells fold and pass through capillaries smaller than their own diameter — instead of stacking up and leaving tissue short on oxygen.

Boosts Oxygen Delivery & Energy

It improves how oxygen reaches tissue and increases mitochondrial oxygen use — which is a direct part of how your cells produce more ATP, your body's basic energy currency.

Acts as a Microbicide

As an oxidant, ozone reacts with the membranes of viruses and bacteria. Even after the ozone itself reacts and disappears, the byproducts it leaves behind keep working as oxidants.

Modulates the Immune System

Rather than simply "boosting" immunity, ozone appears to help bring an immune system back toward balance — whether it's been running underactive or overactive.

Balances the Redox System

It helps regulate the body's oxidation-reduction balance, which plays a role in how inflammation gets managed throughout the body.

In his own practice, Dr. Rowen reports working with patients dealing with chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, headaches, brain fog, rheumatoid arthritis, autism, measles, and mononucleosis — and notes ozone playing a supportive role alongside standard care for Lyme disease and, combined with chelation therapy, for coronary artery health.

These are his clinical observations from four decades of practice — not a claim we're making about what ozone will do for you. Every body responds differently, and none of this replaces the care of your own doctor.

Four ways people use ozone at home.
One bonus worth knowing about.

Every method below uses the same SimplyO3 unit — just a different attachment and a different amount of time. None of it requires inhaling ozone gas, which is never advised. This is a small sample of what people report; it's wellness language, not a list of medical claims.

A measured amount of ozone/oxygen gas delivered via a soft catheter, absorbed through the rectal lining into circulation. This is the method most closely studied of the group, and the one many people start with.

Digestive comfort support
Gut microbiome support
General immune support
Whole-body circulation, without an IV
A gentler entry point than IV ozone
Used at home, on your own schedule

Ozone gas delivered through a specialized insert designed for vaginal use, typically a 20–30 minute session. SimplyO3's kit is purpose-built for this — not improvised from other equipment.

Feminine flora balance support
Comfort and dryness support
Cycle-related wellness support
A private, at-home option
Purpose-built insert, not a workaround
Pairs with your existing routine

Gas flows gently through the nasal passage while you breathe through your mouth — it reacts with the nasal lining and isn't meant to reach the lungs. Many run it through a bit of oil first for comfort.

Sinus clearing support
Seasonal comfort support
A few minutes, most mornings
No special position needed

Ozone gas is bubbled directly into a glass of water, then consumed shortly after — ozone doesn't hold, so this is a "make it and drink it" method, not something you store.

Digestive support
Oral freshness support
General wellness routine
The simplest entry point of all four

A bonus method worth knowing, even though it's not the focus of a SimplyO3 home kit: ozone introduced under a cupping seal reacts with moisture on the skin's surface. People pair this with dry brushing or their existing detox routine.

Circulation support at the skin
Pairs well with existing bodywork
Localized, targeted use

These are wellness applications reported by people who use ozone at home — not a claim that ozone diagnoses, treats, or cures any condition. If you're managing a diagnosed condition, talk to your doctor before adding this to your routine.

Simple enough for your kitchen table.
Built to be used correctly.

SimplyO3 pairs an oxygen-fed generator with the right attachment for whichever method you're using. The oxygen source is not optional — it's what keeps the process clean.

01

Get an Oxygen Source

You'll need an oxygen tank, available through any oxygen supply company — it doesn't need to be medical grade. It needs to be tank oxygen specifically; a concentrator won't work here. The regulator that controls flow comes included in your SimplyO3 kit.

02

Choose Your Method

Rectal, vaginal, sinus, or water — each uses a different attachment from your kit. Most people settle into one or two methods that fit their week, rather than rotating through all of them.

03

Make It a Rhythm

Rectal ozone works well at five days on, two days off — or about 20 days a month with five off. Most methods settle into a rhythm like that, part of the quiet routine your household already runs on.

We'd rather you know this going in.

Ozone is a serious tool, which means it deserves a little respect. None of this is meant to alarm you — just to make sure you're set up correctly.

Never inhale ozone gas

Rectal, vaginal, sinus, and water methods all avoid the lungs by design. Ozone gas should never be breathed in directly — that's true for every method on this page.

Oxygen-fed, not air-fed

A proper unit runs on real oxygen from a tank — through any oxygen supply company, no medical-grade requirement. It needs to be tank oxygen, not a concentrator. Air-fed generators create nitrogen byproducts you don't want in your body. This is why equipment choice matters.

G6PD deficiency is a hard stop

If you have G6PD deficiency, ozone therapy isn't appropriate — your red blood cells can't handle the oxidative load safely. If you don't know your status, ask your doctor before starting.

Pregnancy, bleeding disorders, and more

Practitioners commonly flag pregnancy (especially the first trimester), active bleeding or clotting disorders, uncontrolled hyperthyroidism, and recent heart attack as reasons to check with a doctor first.

Ozone therapy is a complementary wellness practice. It is not FDA-evaluated and is not a substitute for medical care. If you're managing a health condition, loop in your doctor before you begin.

The kit we actually use.

What we've watched happen, firsthand.

We didn't need to be convinced by a study. We needed to watch it happen, over and over, with our own guests.

Digestion: by the third day, most guests are having some of the best bowel movements they've had in years — the colon and body getting more oxygen than they're used to.

Sinuses: we've watched people who hadn't been able to smell flowers, or much of anything, in years get that sense back after just one or two sinus sessions.

Wound support: one guest came in with a foot wound in rough shape. By day four, new skin was already forming — the ozone working against the bacteria while the body did its own healing.

Feminine health: we've seen women with long-standing vaginal issues see them fully resolve within four or five sessions.

These are our own observations from years at the Health Retreat, not a guarantee of what you'll experience — everybody's body responds differently. If you're managing a diagnosed condition, loop in your doctor first.

The same equipment we keep at home.

We don't believe in tools that ask you to overhaul your life. This one fits into the rhythm you already have — a few minutes, a few times a week, alongside the food-first foundation that was always the real point.
